Bus Transfer Systems
AARTECH, the original designers' and pioneers' in bus transfer systems in India, have now, re-designed the system, on a 19" industrially rugged, microprocessor based platform, specially designed for power stations and EHV substations, BTS 2000.
Having powerful, state-of-the-art features, this is a pioneering system solution with highly advanced capabilities to provide fast and safe bus transfer operations in an intelligent manner. Behind this technology is the 15 years rich and unique experience of providing 71 bus transfer systems in several thermal power stations.
BTS 2000 is fully programmed to meet bus transfer specifications / requirements for unit to station as well as station to station transfers, typically required in super thermal power stations / nuclear power stations as well as large process industries and captive power stations; all requiring minimum break time in the power supply to achieve process continuity.
BTS 2000 fully meets the ANSI C50.41 criterion and many other recommendations for global standardisation efforts of motor bus transfers.
BTS 2000 is programmed for protective transfers (Class A trip and Class B trip), manual transfers and can also be configured for intelligent auto transfers based on continuous system monitoring algorithms. Manual transfers are possible bi-directionally although protective and auto transfers are always from unit to station. Manual transfers can be initiated locally using a menu driven interface or through an external computer tie-up of the RS485 port using the ModBus protocol.
