SPECTROMETER
MODERNISATION
INTERFACES,
ACCESSORIES & SERVICES
1. DIGITAL VOLTMETER.
This is a 4 1/2 digit voltmeter for reading integrator voltage and
transmitting these values to the computer. It works on the dual
slope technique.
2. RETROFIT CONSOLE.
This is a stand alone unit and contains the total electronics which
includes the DIGITAL VOLTMETER, INTEGRATORS, HIGH IMPEDANCE AMPLIFIER,
PHOTO MULTIPLIER POWER SUPPLY, ATTENUATORS (for dynode voltage adjustment),
and CONTROL CIRCUIT ( for controlling spectrometer operation ).

UNISPARK SOURCE.
This is a computer controlled semi-conductor based source unit where
the various parameters during pre-burn and burn are selected. Thus
enabling high-energy pre-burn and low energy burn to give precise
and repeatable analysis. No gas filled or vacuum tubes are used.
Hence consumables are eliminated.

QV-28 CONTROLLER.
This is for coupling the computer to ARL QV-28 Spectrometer.
5. JA-800 CONTROLLER.
This is for coupling the computer to JA ATOMCOMP 800.

JA-1100 / 7000 CONTROLLER.
This is for coupling the computer to JA ATOMCOMP 1100 & ATOMCOMP
7000 Spectrometer.

COMPUTER EXCHANGE.
This is for coupling the computer to ARL 34000 Spectro.
8.
PV-8020 CONTROLLER.
This is for coupling the computer to PHILIPS PV-8020.
9.
PV-8350 CONTROLLER.
This is for coupling the computer to PHILIPS PV-8350.

DVM-INF CARD.
This is installed in the computer for isolation & hand shaking with
the DVM.
11.
TTL-OUTPUT CARD.
This is installed in the computer for isolation & command outputs
from the computer.
12.
TTL-INPUT CARD.
This is installed in the computer for isolation & receiving commands
and data from the CCNTROLLER.
13.
COMMUNICATION CARD.
This card has 16 INPUT / 16 OUTPUT & 1 INTERRUPT and is installed
in the computer. It is used for isolation and communication between
computer and interface.
14.
SPECTROCOM SOFTWARE.
The Spectrocom software is used with the computer which can be either
a PCAT-486 or a PCAT-Pentium. The software caters to the requirements
of operation, calibration, standardisation and analysis on the spectrometer
as also storage of results and it's printout.
15. RE-COATING OF MIRRORS.
Old mirrors recoated to make it as good as new ones.
16. GRATING REPLACEMENT.
Field replacement & realignment is undertaken.
17.
NEW OPTICAL LINES.
Field installation of new optical lines is undertaken. NOTE:- the
computer used for modernisation is an AT-486 or Pentium processor,
which has to be provided by the customer from his local supplier.
