Blinking Lamp                                         (3SL20B)

Introduction

EBlinking Lamp type 3SL20B is a solid state blinker which starts blinking at a fixed rate of 80 blinks/min. when the rated supply voltage is applied at terminals 1 and 2. It consists of a solid state low frequency oscillator as blinker circuit potted inside the plastic housing along with a double wound control transformer. The circuit is so designed that when terminals 3 and 4 are shorted, the lamp becomes steady.The lamp becomes off when supply is taken off. This unique feature makes it suitable as a low cost  annunciator.  It is available in various voltage ratings, lens colours. Typical control schematic for upto 6 lamp annunciator is shown in the leaflet available upon request.

Application

As told earlier the blinking lamp can be used for small annunciation panel with proper circuitry. It can also be used for any sort of visual indication at fault or drawing attention of personnel e.g., in process control plants, power houses, industries, or anywhere when suitably applied.
