CENTRAL TOOL ROOM & TRAINING CENTRE
A Govt. of India Society - An Indo-Danish Project, Bon Hooghly Industrial Area, Kolkata - 700 108, India.
This Centre has been established in 1976 under Indo-Danish Technical Co-operation Programme between Govt. of India and Govt. of Denmark.
This is under Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner(MSME) is the President of the Society.
Aims and objectives of the Centre are:
Design and manufacture:
- Moulds for plastics and metals.
- Press tools/Forging tools.
- Jigs & Fixtures, Gauges.
- Precision Components.
- Rapid Prototype.
- Vacuum Heat Treatment.
- Job work.
Imparting training in the field of Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM/CNC Machining.
Rendering Project Management & Consultancy Services.
