There are six modules available in S M S. Each of these modules are explained in the following pages to give you an in-depth know-how about the information captured and some very important and interesting reports
generated by Service Management System. The module are :

Warranty Sales As mentioned above it is advantageous for the Service department to have Warranty data available for Service activities. Therefore chronologically the first module explained is Warranty module. This module will capture all the information related to Warranty Sales.

Maintenance Contracts This module will capture Maintenance Contract data for Equipments/Customers whose Warranty has expired. The system is capable of transferring already existing Warranty and Maintenance Contract data very easily. A provision is also made to undertake Maintenance Contracts for Equipments that are not sold by your Company.

Servicing This module is the heart of SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM that enables the user to log service calls. The system will determine if the Customer calling is under Warranty/Maintenance Contract. Also there is a facility to accept Service Calls for Equipments/Customers on per call basis.

Inquiry Management This is a peripheral module that enables the user to record all Pre-Sales inquiries. This module will also allow the user to track all follow-up actions to be taken after Inquiries are received.

Order Processing This module processes Sales Orders received from Customers and Purchase Orders placed on Suppliers. The user can also raise Production Indents on their Manufacturing facility through this module. This module is linked with Inventory and Warranty Sales modules.

Inventory Control This is an exhaustive module for controlling inventory of Finished products ( Models ) and Spare parts. It also takes care of Defective stocks. This module is completely integrated with Warranty Sales,Order Processing and Service modules.
