Do I need special golf clubs?
No, you can use the clubs you have.

Do I need a mat?
A hitting mat will bring your feet level with the unit. When your feet are even with the P3ProSwing sensor unit, you get the most accurate shot data from your swing. Our hitting mats have been designed to hold the P3ProSwing so that you can keep your body aligned with the unit. They also fold for convenient storage.

Can my game really improve with P3ProSwing?
Absolutely. Many golf professionals now use P3ProSwing to teach their clients. It is the fast, easy and scientific way to improve your game.

What do you need to do to set up the P3ProSwing?
It's very easy.
 

1. Put the CD in your computer and follow the simple directions for installing the program.
2. Plug the cord from the unit into your computer's serial port.
3. Plug in the power cord into an electrical outlet.
4. Choose what you want to do (Driving Range, Course, Putting, Putting Game) and choose a club in the software.
5. Put a strip of the black and white reflective tape on the bottom of your club.

Can I use all the clubs in my bag?
Absolutely. The P3ProSwing lets you use woods, irons, wedges and putter from anywhere on the course, range or green.  And unlike other systems the P3ProSwing is great for irons.  With the P3ProSwing you hit your iron shots right off of the Sensor Unit - you do not have to use a tee.

What type of computer is required?

The following systems will support all of the P3ProSwing swing analysis functions and game functions:

• Windows 98 or higher
• 64 Mb RAM with at least 128 Mb virtual RAM available
• 9-pin serial port or USB port with 9-pin serial-to-USB converter

Serial Port USB Port

The P3ProSwing connects to the computer using the RS232 Serial port. Some computers do not have a RS232 Serial port, but instead use a USB port for accessories like PDAs and digital cameras. If your computer is one of these you will need our USB-to-Serial conversion cable (PN 33111) to connect the P3ProSwing to your computer. This is a full spectrum converter which is required P3ProSwing for data communication between the P3ProSwing and your computer. We highly suggest that you get this proven converter. It is inexpensive and it is guaranteed.

For full motion grapics and audio you will also need

• 128 Mb RAM with at least 128 Mb virtual RAM available
• a 3-D Graphics Accelerator Card (i.e. NVidia GeForce3, GeForce4, ATI Radeon, etc…)
• Audio card with speaker(s).

During the initial installation process the P3ProSwing Program will perform an analysis of your computer and game card to determine its ability to run full motion graphics and it will optimize your settings to run the program.

To test your system for full motion graphics, you can download this program to your desktop. Then click on it to run. It will tell you if full motion graphics are available. Delete the program by dragging it to the trash when you are done.

What are the space requirements for the "i GOLF Gold package"?

i GOLF Simulator Enclosure Requirements:

There should be a clear space of 2 ft from the rear of the enclosure and 1ft on either side. The overhead projector is to be placed at 18 ft from the screen.

Does the system work for left handed golfers?
Yes. Just click on Options and check off the box for left-handed golfer.

Could this be used at a driving range?
As long as it is powered and has access to a computer it can run at an outside driving range. Solid shade is required for outdoor use because the P3ProSwing uses infrared (or heat sensors) to measure your golf swing. We recommend solid shade that does not let the sun's heat waves through. It is the heat waves and odd shadows not the light that interferes with the P3ProSwing's sensor system.

How is the hitting pad powered?
It is powered by a 5-volt DC power supply that is included. All you have to do is plug it in any wall socket.

What is the warranty on the system?
 

i GOLF provides in India P3ProSwing with a 1 Year limited warranty, covering the unit for 1 Year from the date of installation. Our 1 Year limited warranty covers all defects in material or workmanship. During this time period we will, at our sole option, repair or replace any P3ProSwing properly returned to us that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. The warranty does not cover misuse by the customer.
