Potato Seed Production using Tissue Culture Process
Kalindi Agro is producing potato seeds using tissue culture process and greenhouse technology in Distt. Dehradun ( U.P.).
Firstly potato plantlets are propogated in the tissue culture laboratory and then grown in greenhouses to produce potato minitubers. From these minitubers, potato seeds are produced under net houses and open fields.
The potato seeds produced through this process are of high quality and generally have no seed borne diseases resulting in higher yields and healthier crops. We are producing potato seed of both processing and table varieties.
