Indian Steel

Indian products are competitive and there is good possibility of export of H.R. Coils, Cold rolled coils and galvanised coils/sheets apart from billets from India.Quality is world class.

Billets can be offered in 60x60, 80x80, 100x100 and 120x120mm. (Some mills offer concast while some are rolling from Ingots)

Three Indian mills offer H.R. Coils as under:-

1) 1.8 to 20mm upto 2000mm width in grade SAE 1006 or similar and upto API 5LX grade 60. Mill using HBI-EAF route.

2) Hot Strip mill using thin slab castor route offering 1.5mm upto 25mm in width 1500/1560mm in grade SAE 1006 or similar and API 5LX grades.

3) Hot strip mill offering 1.8mm to 16mm in width upto 1829mm using BOF-CCS route offering SAE 1006 or similar, ASTM A36 or similar etc.

In galvanised sheets/coils the range ofered is from 0.14 mm to 2.0 mm in coatings upto 275 gms in width upto 1255 mm. Material offered is SOFT, stretch levelled for industrial use as also hard variety for roofing
