LINEAGE TRADE is in the following lines of business:

A) As part of a consortium buys stainless hot rolled coils and cold rolled coils and sheets for the consortium

B) Indentors of ferrous and non ferrous metals.

C) Representing mines/mills for coking coal,steam coal,metallurgical coke.

D) Represents producers of ferro alloys particularly ferro moly and moly oxide

E) Represents dealers of HMS, shredded scrap, stainless steel scrap

F) Representatives and agents of foreign suppliers and buyers in the lines of steel and linked products

The firm is headed by Mr. A.S. Sethi who was Head of the Department All India Marketing of group of products in Steel Authority of India Ltd, India's largest producer of steel. Mr. Sethi is an MBA and also a post graduate in International Trade from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. Mr. Sethi was in Steel Authority of India for 24 years in various senior executive positions in marketing of steel products in India, import of steel into India and export of steel from India.

After leaving Steel Authority of India in 1996, Mr. Sethi has done substantial business of import of stainless steel and and mild steel into India and also export of galvanized coils from India, at first in association with an Industrial group and independently since April 1999.

Mr. Sethi has a network of experienced steel marketing men at major consumption centres, all over India.
