The company was initiated by a Team of foreign trained Engineers who have extensive experience in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from ONSPEC Automation Solutions and have written many papers about Computer Image processing in Industrial applications.
Mr. Mohammed Ahmed, a computer Systems Engineer from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, NY, heads the team. He has worked with IBM Crop. on OS/2 and ONSPEC Automation Solutions, on ONSPEC32 for OS/2. He written a vast number of papers on image processing in industrial applications. He has designed and implemented serial communication drivers.
The software development team is headed by Dr. Mohsin Ahmed, who completed his B Tech from IIT, Bombay in computer science, Masters in computers science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay in Dense time logic – Computer Science. DR Mohsin Ahmed was an associate professor at the State University of New York at Albany for one year after which he joined Microsoft as the team leader for the development of windows network socket drivers for Windows 95, Windows NT and Microsoft Internet Explorer. After two years at Microsoft he returned Bangalore to pursue software development. The automation division of ONSPEC is headed by Dr. Shabbir Ahmed, who has extensive experience in the process control industry. He is the director of SMT(Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology) at Santa Fe College in the US. He has extensive experience in India and abroad in the industry.
Other technical experts include Mr. Girish Mehendale, who has 23 years experience in the process control industry and Mr. Rajeev Balakrishnan with a Masters in Computer Science and over 10 years experience in the software field.
The core development team consist of Ali Nasir Rizvi with 2 years experience in applications design and development and Sajjid Qureshi with extensive experience in Management Systems and Finance.

The system is designed such as to take into consideration the fact that the financial, purchase, inventory, stores, electrical, mechanical and other such departments are using information, which is co-related. We have implemented a complete advanced process control solution to interface all plant process parameter and then used this information for other departments. For example, when a raw material tank level fall, automated purchase orders are generated at the purchase department with all fields already filled (no human error possible). Finance tables reflect the entry of the automated purchase order and even the Materials Department gets a message as to when to expect which delivery.
