Selection Posts

These are posts which are isolated in nature, not covered by any of the open examinations conducted by the commision and qualifications for which vary depending on the specific job requirements.The posts of Investigators, Research Assistants, Market Intelligence Inspectors, Library Assistants, Store Keepers etc. are some examples of Selection Posts.

Recruitment for such posts are made mainly by interviews only. However, in some cases a proficiency test is also conducted in addition to interview. Also, in some cases a screening test is conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.

The entire recruitment process in case of selection posts right from the publication of employment notice to the nomination of successful candidates to user offices is handled by us. The interview boards are constituted with the approval of our headquarters. Experts in differnt disciplines are associated with the interview boards. Interviews are held in our office. SC/ST Candidates called for interview are reimbursed travelling expenses as per our norms.

Through the interviews we try to assess the candidates' potential, aptitude, professional knowledge and personality traits in order to find out their suitability for the post.
