It is my great pleasure to launch the website of RPF on this auspicious golden Jubilee of our Republic. The priority for the Railways in the new millenium is passenger safety and security. In the area of security to travelling public, the RPF has a vital role to play. The RPF should metamorphosis itself into a people friendly Force and should be at the service of the customers who are the patrons of the Railway. The launching of the website by the RPF is a step in the right direction. I am glad that this site contains very useful information to the travelling public, to point out a few, the format for lodging of First Information Report, Do’s and Don’ts for the travelling public to safeguard their  personal belongings, telephone numbers of important functionaries etc. I hope the site will prove to be of immense value and use to the public
